Had 6 hamsters. Shorty and Fatso (real names Little & Large) Chinese hamsters, Fatso died of old age, shorty was unknown.
Nora, Dora and Heidi were Robo's they died this year of old age.
Penny was a Syrian and she died yesterday morning possibly due to a stoke the night before as she lost the ability to move or see. She was an old lady who loved to bite and run free.

How the name Tuftyfluff came about

the first syrian hamsters we acquired were from Towyvale hamstrey. we bought them off the sales table at the Thame county show in April 2008 they are the little beauties who made us fall in love with species. the children named them Tufty and Fluffy, so it was only fair that we named our hamstrey after them:).
